Some good news for Arizona fans from a recruit who seemed to be way past Arizona: Korey Banks Jr., a 3-star safety out of Sandy Creek (Tyrone, GA), named his top five schools, which included Arizona. At 6-0 170 lbs, Banks is ranked as the No. 95 cornerback in the nation.

Arizona comes as a bit of a surprise on this, honestly. I had a strong feeling that Banks was going to commit to Michigan fairly soon, but he left Michigan completely out of his top five. However, Banks has recently added Michigan back to the list.
Michigan is back in it guys

With these schools on the list, Arizona has a pretty strong chance at landing Banks. With Michigan back in the picture, they're still very much a threat, however maybe not as large as we once thought. Wisconsin seems to be another favorite for Banks, but a strong showing this season for Arizona and a clear need in the secondary going forward, and Banks is in great position should he commit to Arizona.
This adds another level of intrigue for the 2016 recruiting class, as I would have guessed that Banks was long past Arizona. It's pretty safe to say that Arizona will land a top safety for the 2016 class. There are quite a few safeties that Arizona are in the mix for, which will help Devon Brewer out, as he seems to be the next big leader of the secondary.
