AZDS Tuesday Twitterbag: On Anu Solomon's expectations and more

You guys really want to know things about Anu this week.

Casey Sapio-USA TODAY Sports

Welcome to our latest AZ Desert Swarm Twitterbag! Remember, if you have a question you want answered in next week's edition, either tweet it to us on a Monday night or Tuesday morning, or feel free to drop questions in the comments here.

Without further ado, let's get to all these Anu Solomon questions you guys have this week, and a couple other things.

There's obviously a chance. He showed flashes of greatness last year, and if he can stay healthy, and the receivers stay healthy, there's no reason that he can't be one of the top two quarterbacks in the league. But I think the guy standing in his way will be Jared Goff. This will be Goff's third year in the system, and by all accounts, Cal at least has some more talent around him now as well. I think my preseason pick for right now would be Goff. Cody Kessler's going to be up there too.

Low. In all reality, he could leave after this year. But I would say he sticks around for his redshirt junior season in 2016, and then exits. Which could be the best situation for Arizona anyway considering the QBs coming in the 2016 and 2017 recruiting classes (Devon Modster, Khalil Tate and Braxton Burmeister). But right now, I don't envision the 2017 Arizona football team having Anu Solomon under center.

tbag questions

1. The last two years, the tight ends have essentially been Terrence Miller and Austin Hill. I think guys like Trevor Wood, Matt Morin, or even Josh Kern will get some serious targets this year. And if not, then they get coached up on defensive line. But the size and ball skills are there now. They haven't been there before.

2. I envision Nick Wilson missing at least one game this season. After last year, and the fact the coaching staff felt the need to hold him out of all of spring practice, I just don't feel comfortable predicting a totally healthy season. But, I also feel Jared Baker is extremely underrated, and Tyrell Johnson and Jonathan Haden will get a decent amount of handoffs as well.

Yes. Think it will be some combo of Kaleb Tarczewski, Allonzo Trier, and Justin Simon. Maybe if Kadeem Allen has a huge year too. I'm not saying all three or four get drafted, but I feel like two would be.

Tarczewski. I'm getting on the Zeus train early this year.

Yes a non-sports question! I don't like sushi, so for me it's Fuku. World of Beer's food is pretty awful too. I think we're lucky with how many good places there are to eat, especially Downtown now.

Thanks for the questions everyone! Send yours along next week!
