AZDS Tuesday Twitterbag: Can we get new football uniforms?

Despite football season starting Wednesday, you guys still had mostly basketball questions....

Yeah, there's been all kind of subtle hints from the Arizona Football twitter world all summer that some kind of change is coming. I think most people agree that the current set of uniforms are garbage, and Nike needs to do something about it if Arizona wants to establish itself in the national mindset moving forward. I believe this is the last year that we have to deal with the current uniforms.

As an aside, I enjoy San Diego State things as well, and their new uniforms are straight fire

It at least hurts a little. I don't think there was a way that he was going to get major playing time this season, but it certainly hurts the depth a little bit. I think he would have been on the two-deep had he still been around. But I don't think it's an enormous loss.

@azdesertswarm How much of the offensive load do you think Allonzo Trier takes this year?

I think Trier will be the leading scorer this year, whatever that means as far as how much of the offensive load he will take on. I'd imagine that it will be pretty balanced, similar to last year, where six guys averaged over nine points a game. So he'll lead in scoring, but not by a ton.

@azdesertswarm What is/are your opinion(s) about De'ron Davis going to Arizona?

I'm not going to claim to be an expert in basketball recruiting or anything, but I do know that it seems strange that the 2016 class is still TJ Leaf and no one else. Arizona has a few options at power forward in this class still, but whoever comes in, fans should be excited for them. This is Sean Miller we're talking about here. But it is imperative to get good talent there since both Ryan Anderson and Mark Tollefsen graduate, as well as Tarczewski. Need to bring some size in wherever it comes from.
