Sonoran Hot Reads: Ryan Anderson will impact March

A matchup nightmare for most squads come March

As the Arizona Wildcats head towards March, one guy who will be a problem for many potential opponents is Ryan AndersonESPN took an Insider look at 50 players who will have the biggest impact in college basketball's final month, and of Anderson, John Gasaway says: "The erstwhile Boston College Eagle is having the finest season of his career as a senior, showing a level of dominance on the defensive glass that he was apparently saving just for Tucson. As the season has progressed, Anderson's game has continued to improve, and in Pac-12 play, he has connected on a ridiculous 61 percent of his 2s."

- Anderson scored 15 points and had eight rebounds in Arizona's dominating win over ASU. It was the largest margin of victory by either team since 1988

- Probably the bigger news to come out of Wednesday night was Elliott Pitts' decision to leave the team for the rest of the year as he continues to deal with his personal issues

- You could argue the Wildcats proved that they are the best team in the Pac-12, just like our new power rankings say


- The Wildcats announced that junior college transfer JC Cloney will start opening night against Rice on Friday

- Kendall Rogers has Bobby Dalbec as the third-most valuable third baseman in the country
