As Sean Miller looks to fill out the Arizona Wildcats roster for this upcoming season and beyond, his attention has turned to transfer candidates. One of those is freshman guard Dylan Smith from UNC Asheville. Smith tweeted out the list of schools that have contacted him (questionable emoji choices in my opinion), and news came later in the day that he will be visiting Arizona on Tuesday. It's too bad he didn't come to Tucson last week when there were water slides and things on the mall. The transfer candidate has already visited Virginia Tech. Smith was Asheville's leading scorer last year, averaging 13.5 points per contest in his first collegiate season. All the guards please
- Or maybe not all the guards? Hutchinson CC (where Kadeem Allen transferred from) forward Keanu Pinder was on a visit to Arizona on Sunday. He was previously committed to New Mexico
Football
- Speaking of transfers, football has landed former USF wide receiver Zach Benjamin
- Speaking of Florida, Gabe chatted with a Tampa product that received an offer from Arizona
Baseball
- The Cats finished off a sweep of Oregon State with a big 7th inning. Zach Gibbons made a nice catch, and made the 9th spot on Sportscenter's Top Ten
- After sweeping the Beavers, Arizona is now 24th in the RPI, by far the highest ranking among Pac-12 teams
- Joey Rickard had himself a day with the Orioles
Softball
- Danielle O'Toole took a perfect game into the final inning of a 10-1 run-rule victory to take the series from OSU
Other sports
- Pau Tonnesen is the Pac-12 decathlon champ again
