As college basketball coaches around the country continue to evaluate some of the best talent in the 2017 and ‘18 classes, the Arizona Wildcats extended an offer to one of the higher ranked players in the 2018 class. Brandon Williams, a 6-foot-1 point guard out of Encino, CA tweeted out that he received a scholarship offer to Arizona State. This is definitely a name to know right now for Arizona though, since he has three Crystal Ball predictions on 247 Sports, and all of them are for the Wildcats:
- In addition to this offer, the Cats also offered seven-footer Moses Brown over the weekend
- Working backwards from 2018, check out this mixtape of 2017 target Ira Lee
- 2017 five-star Kevin Knox put Arizona in his top ten
- And now for the 2016 class, Lauri Markkanen put on a show at the FIBA U20 Europe Tournament on Sunday as Finland beat Spain in OT
- Keeping with the trend here, former Wildcat Stanley Johnson was at Drew League, and of course he dropped 46 points
Football
- The major change on the defense this year won’t necessarily be scheme, it’ll be attitude
- Is Rich Rodriguez the guy to lead Arizona to that elusive Rose Bowl?
- We took a look at a couple of positions depth charts over the weekend. Here’s a look at the running backs, and then the linebackers, who have lost a couple players in recent weeks
Baseball
- JJ Matijevic is apparently owning Rio Gomez in Cape Cod League. Those lefty-lefty splits are skyrocketing
