Arizona basketball: T.J. McConnell makes NBA Summer League, haircut debut

A lot of former Wildcats were in action on Monday, including TJM making the first appearance of his summer

On Monday, two different NBA Summer Leagues were officially in session as the Salt Lake City version got underway. This also meant the summer debut of the Sixers and T.J. McConnell. In a game-high 29 minutes of action, McConnell scored five points, dished out seven assists and pulled in seven rebounds.

He was also debuting a new haircut, which the fans seemed to enjoy

  • After a bit of a slow start to the summer, Nick Johnson picked it up, scoring 19 points on Monday, and also had four steals, four assists and five rebounds

There were three other Wildcats in that game. Stanley Johnson had eight points to go with ten rebounds. Kaleb Tarczewski had nine points and six rebounds, and Ryan Anderson went with five points and four boards.

With all this Wildcat action going down in Orlando, Sean Miller made the trip out to grab some sushi with the guys.

For all their sakes, I hope Stanley paid.
