We’re under two weeks until the majority of college football teams start playing (sup Cal and Hawaii this week), so naturally there are plenty of college football previews and predictions coming out. On Monday, SB Nation released the best season preview magazine out there, and it’s free! In there, you’ll find the bowl projections, which have Arizona taking on Baylor in the Cactus Bowl, which is played in Chase Field this year. That wasn’t the only one that had the Wildcats playing a ninth game in Arizona this year though. This one has Rich Rodriguez coaching against...you guessed it. West Virginia. Since the Mountaineers played ASU in that game last year, it would be highly unlikely they made a return trip to Phoenix

- Ted Miller predicts Arizona will go 6-6 this year, despite a preseason FPI ranking of 37

- Jay Johnson’s best friend Eric Valenzuela was given an extension through 2021 by Saint Mary’s

- Bobby Dalbec is still on fire, coming up a double shy of the cycle against Brooklyn

- Jett Bandy’s dad once taught Tom Cruise how to bartend

Tucson news

- The entire AHL schedule was released on Monday, and the Roadrunners’ first home game will be October 28th
