Sonoran Hot Reads: What “Pride of Arizona” football uniforms would look like

New, 3 comments

These are not very good

We get many complaints about what the Arizona Wildcats wear when they play football. Why? Well, because the internet is weird sometimes, and also, the current uniforms are pretty awful. But here are worse ones! is releasing football concept uniforms based on each school’s marching band uniforms, and Monday was the Pac-12’s turn. Below, you’ll see what the Pride of Arizona ones look like. It’s a neat theory. As someone who marched for four years and is now currently on drum staff at U of A, I think I can say that these are awful and please never let them happen

- So what else is going on with the Pac-12 these days? How about ESPN saying that the late-night time slot is good for the conference because there’s no other competition. Yeah, not a lot of people volunteering for the 2AM ET slot on a Saturday night I’m guessing

- Doing anything Tuesday nights? The Rich Rodriguez Coaches Show will be at Union Public House at 7 PM

- Arizona offered 2018 running back Chris Brown, who is ranked 20th nationally at the position

- BYU coach Kalani Sitake had plenty of things to say about Arizona on the Cougars’ FB page. I’d recommend checking that out throughout the week as they have a lot of content

- Remember the 2008 Las Vegas Bowl? AZCentral has some pictures from that freezing cold win over BYU

- Be sure to listen to Wildcat Radio’s BYU preview

- Shawn Poindexter has played his way onto the two-deep with a very impressive fall

- The latest Arizona video is all about the past

- Brandon gave us some updates on Arizona players in the NFL

- Be sure to join our College Football Pick’em group on ESPN

- Some recruiting things for you to know about. PJ Washington will be visiting the week AFTER the Red-Blue Game. Also, Trevon Duval has Arizona in his top ten, and the Wildcats are in Jordan Tucker’s top eight
