The NCAA Tournament had a bit of a sneak peek this past weekend as the selection committee revealed their top four teams in each region.
What a novel concept.
The Arizona Wildcats were shown as the 3-seed in the Midwest region, sitting behind the Kansas Jayhawks and Florida State Seminoles.

While I don’t necessarily agree with everything the NCAA revealed on Saturday, it sure does make a projected bracket easier.
A few things have changed — I believe the Gonzaga Bulldogs win at St. Mary’s pushes them above Baylor. Virginia’s loss to Virginia Tech over the weekend will drop them a peg. As does Butler’s loss to Providence.
Arizona is still a consensus 2-seed according to bracketmatrix.com. They’re among five Pac-12 teams believed to be in the field, along with fellow consensus 2-seed, the Oregon Ducks, the UCLA Bruins, USC Trojans and the California Golden Bears.
Last four byes: TCU, California, Marquette, Miami (FL)
Last four in: Michigan, Indiana, Arkansas, Tennessee
First four out: Clemson, Seton Hall, Wake Forest, Illinois State
Next four out: Georgia Tech, Rhode Island, Georgetown, Texas Tech
The Wildcats look to stay amongst the top of the field after their Washington road trip this week. It kicks off against the Washington State Cougars on Thursday night.
