The Arizona women’s golf team has been selected as the No. 3 seed in the Tallahassee Regional of the NCAA Regional Championships, it was announced Wednesday.

Play begins May 7 and runs through May 9 at Don Veller Seminole Golf Course & Club. This is the 26th straight year Arizona has made NCAA Regionals.
The Wildcats have been solid in their last few tournaments. In their last tournament, the Pac-12 Tournament, they finished tied for third.

Junior Haley Moore led the way, placing third. Bianca Pagdanganan and Yu-Sang Hou finished 14th and tied for 15th, respectively.

Moore is the player to watch heading into the NCAA Tournament. She’s placed in the Top 5 in four different tournaments, and has won two of the four tournaments she’s finished.
She can lead the Cats to their first golf title since 2000, and can be the first Wildcat since Jenna Daniels in 2000 to win the Women’s Golf Individual Championship.
