WATCH: Jay Johnson on Arizona missing the NCAA Tournament

The Arizona head coach was disappointed, but not surprised, that his team missed the postseason

The Arizona Wildcats baseball team missed the NCAA Tournament on Monday for the first time in head coach Jay Johnson’s three-year career at the UA.

The Wildcats were one of the first four teams out, as they barely missed the cut.

Here is what Johnson had to say about that and the future of the program.

Jay Johnson said it was “very disappointing” that Arizona Baseball missed the NCAA Tournament, but he wasn’t surprised: “I think being the first team out kinda summed up our season. There were a couple games that we left on the table.”
