Nick Quintana and Cesar Salazar drove in five runs, Cameron Cannon knocked in four, and Arizona baseball routed Grand Canyon 20-6 on Tuesday for its sixth straight win.
The Wildcats (29-17, 10-11 Pac-12) had 12 hits and 13 walks in their offensive explosion. Quintana homered twice and Salazar and Cannon each hit three-run homers.
Cannon’s eighth-inning blast capped off a nine-run frame that allowed UA to pull away late. Alfonso Rivas had two RBI, and Matt Fraizer and Seve Romo had one. Cal Stevenson walked four times and scored five times.

The Wildcats scored 36 runs in their two games against GCU this season. Quintana totaled four homers.
Arizona’s pitching struggled early Tuesday, allowing six runs in the first four innings, but then settled in and delivered five straight scoreless frames.

The Wildcats led 4-1 after the the first inning, then 7-3 after the second, and 8-6 after the fourth.
Arizona’s RPI remains at 36, putting it in good shape to make the NCAA Tournament. One projection places the Wildcats as the No. 3 team in the Raleigh Regional.
Arizona heads to Berkeley this weekend for a three-game series against Cal (26-19, 11-13 Pac-12).
