Another day, another offensive explosion for the Arizona Wildcats.

The UA outscored Dallas Baptist 10-1 over the final three innings in a 15-8 win on Saturday afternoon, improving to 3-0 in the Frisco College Baseball Classic in Frisco, Texas.

Arizona (9-2) used a 7-run bottom of the sixth to pace its seventh straight victory, a game it led 5-0 after two innings before its bullpen struggled in the middle frames.

After Dallas Baptist took a 7-5 lead in the top of the sixth the Wildcats sent 13 men to the plate, going ahead 8-7 on a Daniel Susac RBI single. Mac Bingham then singled in a run, another came in on a throwing error then Jacob Blas plated two with a single.

A 3-run double by Ryan Holgate in the eighth gave Arizona some insurance but it didn’t need it with Quinn Flanagan dominating on the mound. The sophomore struck out eight over the final three innings, including seven in a row, to pick up his second save. Vince Vannelle earned the win in relief.

Blas went 3 for 4 with 2 RBI, Holgate had two hits and 3 RBI while four other Wildcats drove in two runs apiece.

Arizona, which has scored 47 runs in three games in Texas, will try to sweep the Frisco Classic field when it faces Missouri on Sunday.
