Aaron Gordon, a top-five recruit who has the Arizona Wildcats in his list of three finalists, was named to the 2013 Nike Hoops Summit roster for the USA team and will be joined by already-committed wing Rondae Jefferson. The game will be played in Portland, Ore., at the Rose Garden on April 20.
DraftExpress' Johnathan Givony said that Jefferson's place on the team is especially important.
Nike Hoop Summit roster is out on the USA side: nikehoopsummit.com/rosters/ Rondae Jefferson picked I'm told to be the designated "Wiggins stopper"

For those of you unfamiliar with the recruiting circuit and the 2013 class, the reference is to Andrew Wiggins, who has been labeled as perhaps the best prospect since, arguably, LeBron James. Born in 1995 and originally set for the 2014 class, Wiggins reclassified to the 2013 recruiting class and even could've been considered a higher-rated prospect than anyone in the 2012 class.
Wiggins, a 6-foot-7 wing who is from Canada, will play for the international squad. It'll be a very interesting battle between he and the UA recruit, Jefferson.
The Nike Hoops Summit takes place each summer and pits a USA team against an international team of NBA prospects.
Last year, Kaleb Tarczewski represented Arizona in the game. The game is a solid evaluation for USA prospects playing against international players that already have professional experience. Last year, that was pretty clear as the World Select team beat up on the USA team 84-75 after beating up on Tarczewski, Kentucky's Nerlens Noel and to a lesser degree UCLA's Shabazz Muhammad.
The USA roster, which can be viewed in its entirety here, includes 10 players.
