The Pac-12 preseason media poll picked Sean Miller's Arizona basketball team to win the conference in 2014-15, and the Wildcats also earned all but one of the 32 first-place votes. UCLA heads into the season with a single first-place vote, though the Bruins are only picked to finish fourth.
The Utah Utes, who have played Arizona well since joining the Pac-12, are picked just ahead of Colorado with 317 votes to the Buffs' 316. UCLA, Stanford and Washington round out the top half of the conference.
The back end of the Pac-12 has a lot of interesting teams. Oregon is picked eighth as they look to pick up after losing a number of their players, Arizona State will lean on JUCO transfers, while Oregon State is hoping Wayne Tinkle can take them out of the cellar.
Pac-12 media day will kick up at 9:30 a.m. MST on Thursday. Here's a link for how to watch.
