Arizona Basketball: Ivan Rabb is officially down to two schools

Arizona and Cal are the finalists for the five-star forward

Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

We learned earlier today that Rondae Hollis-Jefferson has decided to enter the NBA Draft. Rondae is a huge loss for Arizona, but one guy that Sean Miller could get to replace him is five-star forward Ivan Rabb.

According to Khadrice Rollins of Zagsblog.com, Ivan Rabb told SNY.tv that he will choose between Cal and Arizona. Rollins also wrote:

Rabb said the comfort that could come of being close to home at Cal would be a plus, but the bigger goal is making the NBA, and recent history says Arizona will provide a better opportunity for that.

However, as promising as that sounds for the Wildcats, Zagsblog.com also reports that Rabb is likely to choose Cal over Arizona.

It is still unknown exactly when Rabb will make his decision. You can watch him and Wildcat signee Allonzo Trier in the McDonald's All-American game on Wednesday night at 6 PM PST on ESPN.
