With Brandon Ashley set to declare for the NBA, Arizona is starting to search for a quick replacement. Former San Francisco forward Mark Tollefsen is reportedly interested in Arizona. He is also considering California, SDSU, USC and Washington.
Tollefsen is a 6-9 200lb forward out of Danville, California. His only offer coming out of high school was San Francisco, where he is set to graduate this spring, making him eligible immediately.
Arizona, San Diego State, UCLA, Washington & California are in the running for San Francisco transfer Mark Tollefsen, per a source.

Tollefsen saw great improvement each year after redshirting his freshman year. He went from seven points and three rebounds per game his first year in the program to 10.5 points per game to go along with four rebounds a game in his second year. This past season, he led the Dons in scoring, averaging 14 points and 5.4 rebounds per game.
His best performances came against some of their biggest opponents this season. He finished with 21 and 8 vs Gonzaga in their final game of the season and 22 points and 7 rebounds at BYU. He also recorded three double-doubles this season. Tollefsen struggles a bit on the boards, but is an offensive machine who can stretch the floor, shooting 37.8% from the arc. He's extremely athletic and can run the floor, a perfect fit for Arizona's offense.
