When the college basketball season begins on Friday, the Arizona Wildcats will have the fourth-best odds of winning the National Championship per Bovada.
Here’s a look at the most recent odds put out by the site.

When we received odds a month ago, Arizona was 14/1, so the Cats have backed up slightly in Vegas. The teams they are now tied with are the North Carolina Tar Heels, Oregon Ducks, and Wisconsin Badgers. Pretty ironic company if you ask me.
Surely the absence of Allonzo Trier in the team’s two exhibition games are the main reason the odds have dropped a bit.
The Wildcats’ first opponent, the Michigan State Spartans, currently sit at 20/1 odds along with defending champion Villanova. The Pac-12 has two more teams with decent odds; UCLA is 50/1 and Cal is 66/1.
We’ll know soon enough which teams are for real, and which aren’t. Arizona and Michigan State are scheduled to tip-off at 5 PM MT on Friday.
