Anu Solomon injury: Arizona QB to miss second-straight Territorial Cup

The Wildcats’ QB will miss another ASU game

NCAA Football: Grambling State at Arizona Casey Sapio-USA TODAY Sports

In 2015, Arizona Wildcats quarterback Anu Solomon was forced to miss the regular season finale against the Arizona State Sun Devils due to a concussion.

In 2016, he will miss the Duel in the Desert due to a left foot injury.

Solomon is not dressed for the game, and is wearing a boot on the foot. He sustained the injury against the Oregon State Beavers the week prior while taking a sack.

That snap against OSU may have been the last snap Solomon takes at Arizona. Injuries have derailed a once promising career for the Bishop Gorman product. It’s kind of a shame that his Wildcat career will likely end wearing a sweatshirt, shorts, and a boot on the sideline.

Arizona and ASU are scheduled to kickoff at 7:40 PM MT. The game will be televised on ESPN.
