A day after NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley picked the Arizona Wildcats to win the NCAA Tournament, another former athlete has come forward to express their confidence in the team from Tucson.

This time it was former NFL quarterback Mike Vick, who apparently is a big fan of the Allonzo Trier-Lauri Markkanen duo.

It’s safe to say Trier, who tweeted that Vick is his favorite QB of all-time, appreciated the praise.

Arizona fans will certainly enjoy Vick’s opinion of the Wildcats, but they might not feel the same about his NBA comparison for Trier.

The four-time Pro Bowler compared the Wildcats’ sophomore guard to former ASU Sun Devil star James Harden.

Considering how good Harden was in college and currently is in the NBA, that’s a major compliment to give Trier, but comparing a Wildcat to a Sun Devil is a no-no in the desert.

That said, Arizona fans and Vick can both agree that they want Wisconsin to lose this week. The Badgers face Virginia Tech — Vick’s alma mater — in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament.
