As the Arizona Wildcats trail Saint Mary’s in the first half in the Round of 32, they temporarily lost one of their starters due to injury.
With roughly 10 minutes left in the period, freshman guard Rawle Alkins headed to the locker room after injuring his right index finger.
It is not exactly clear how Alkins injured his finger as this was the replay CBS provided:

After receiving x-rays, Alkins would return to the game with 3:43 left in the first half as Arizona trailed Saint Mary’s 24-16.
Alkins, who has played in every game for Arizona this season, is averaging 11.3 points and 5.1 rebounds per game this season.
