NCAA Tournament odds: Arizona’s Allonzo Trier, Lauri Markkanen among Most Outstanding Player favorites

And plenty more Vegas lines for you

NCAA Basketball: Stanford at Arizona Casey Sapio-USA TODAY Sports

With just 16 teams left in the NCAA Tournament, the potential field for Tournament Most Outstanding Player has been trimmed significantly as well.

We already told you that the Arizona Wildcats have the third-highest odds now of taking home the trophy, so them having two players on the board for Tournament MOP makes complete sense.

Both Allonzo Trier and Lauri Markkanen find themselves on the list, and in that order.

Here’s a look at the complete odds provided by Bovada:

As you can see, Trier is 5th and Markkanen is 8th, with Lonzo Ball being the slight favorite over the likes of Justin Jackson, Frank Mason III, and Nigel Williams-Goss.

In not-totally unrelated news, Bleacher Report put out a list of the top players remaining in the tourney. Trier was 20th and Markkanen was 14th. Mason beat out Ball for the top honors on this particular list.

Also, you’ll want to read this story on Trier by Sports Illustrated that details the weirdness of this season, and sheds some more light on the positive drug test.

Back to other odds though. Arizona had the largest point spread of any games as of Wednesday afternoon.

NumberFire gives Arizona the highest win probability out of all the games on Thursday and Friday.

The Wildcats also have the best odds to win the West:

And finally, two-seeds have the best chances of winning the National Championship.

If you had to pick one, where’s your money going?
