Earlier in the week, Arizona Wildcats associate head coach Joe Pasternack had been linked to the coaching vacancy at UNC-Wilmington.
Now it looks like he’s a serious candidate to end up being the guy at UC Santa Barbara according to Jon Rothstein.

Florida Gulf Coast head coach Joe Dooley appears to be the front-runner of the coaching race at UNCW.
Pasternack has been at Arizona since 2011 and has had the title of associate head coach since 2013.
He was previously the head coach of the New Orleans Privateers, where he amassed a record of 38-54 from 2007-10.
You would think that Pasternack would eventually move on to another school to be a head coach against at some point. With him now apparently being a finalist at two schools, it seems likely that this is the year that it finally happens.
