Arizona basketball: Chance Comanche gets a fancy new car

It seems like he is probably gone

Arizona Wildcats big man Chance Comanche has already declared for the NBA Draft, but he did not hire an agent, leaving the door open for his return to school.

This past weekend happened to be Comanche’s 21st birthday weekend, and man did he get some nice stuff.

The following pictures appear to be of a new Lamborghini that he received per his Snapchat and Instagram stories.

There is also this tweet from the Daily Star’s Greg Hansen:

And then this as the apparent rental weekend came to an end:

According to DraftExpress, Comanche is ranked as the 33rd best sophomore in the college ranks. However, he has never been placed in any mock draft by the site.

The NBA Draft Combine occurs May 9-14 in Chicago. Based on the feedback from that and other workouts, early entrants have until June 12th at 5 PM ET to withdraw their name from the draft. The NBA Draft occurs on June 22nd.

This development makes it look very unlikely that Comanche will return to school, which is something that I have heard from a few people since he officially declared for the draft.

“I am excited about the opportunity to explore my NBA options, gather information and dedicate the next month to reaching my goals of becoming an NBA player,” he said. “At the conclusion of this process, my family and I will make the best decision for my future both on and off the court. I also want to thank Coach Miller and the Arizona staff for supporting my decision.”

Last season, Comanche averaged 6.3 points and 3.6 rebounds per game. He picked up 18.1 minutes per game, which ranked eighth on the team. Arizona’s front court will also likely consist of Dusan Ristic and DeAndre Ayton plus Keanu Pinder and another possible addition, so Comanche may not be able to get many more minutes if he were to return.
