There is a lot of hype surrounding the Arizona Wildcats’ 2017 freshman class, and Friday we got to see the first look of them in red and blue, as the team had its photo day.
Take a look:
Lee, from Southern California, is a 6-foot-8 forward, ranked 57th in the 2017 class.

The 7-foot Ayton, from Hillcrest Prep in Phoenix, is the No. 3 recruit in 2017 (or No. 1 depending who is doing the evaluating).
From Yonkers, New York, the 6-foot-5 Randolph is the No. 36 player in the 2017 class and No. 8 shooting guard.
Akot, a 6-foot-7 forward from Canada, was originally a 2018 commit, but chose to reclassify and enroll at Arizona a year early.
Barcello is a 6-foot-2 guard from Tempe ranked 84th in the 2017 class.
Arizona’s 2017 class was ranked No. 1 in the Pac-12 and No. 3 in college basketball as a whole. They will take the floor for the first time on Aug. 13 when Arizona plays its first of three exhibition games in Spain.
Bonus picture: Chase Jeter
This was the first time we got to see Duke transfer Chase Jeter in an Arizona uniform. The big man has two years of eligibility left, but has to sit out the 2017-18 season, per NCAA transfer rules.
