Akot, a 6-foot-7 forward from Canada, was originally a 2018 commit, but chose to reclassify and enroll at Arizona a year early.

Alex Barcello

Barcello is a 6-foot-2 guard from Tempe ranked 84th in the 2017 class.

Arizona’s 2017 class was ranked No. 1 in the Pac-12 and No. 3 in college basketball as a whole. They will take the floor for the first time on Aug. 13 when Arizona plays its first of three exhibition games in Spain.
