The Arizona women’s basketball team routed NAU 71-47 on Friday to complete non-conference play with a 10-1 record, the Wildcats’ best start since 2011-12. They have won nine straight.
Freshman forward Cate Reese had 21 points and eight rebounds on 13 shots. Sophomore point guard Aari McDonald had 20 points and eight rebounds. Junior forward Dominique McBryde had 12 points and five rebounds.
The Wildcats will now break for Christmas, before returning to the court Dec. 30 when they will host No. 17 Arizona State.
