The Arizona Wildcats are a 4-seed in the South region, and will face the Buffalo Bulls in the first round of the NCAA Tournament in Boise, Idaho on Thursday, the selection committee unveiled Sunday.

If Arizona beats Buffalo, it will play either the Kentucky Wildcats or Davidson Wildcats in the Round of 32. If Arizona wins that game, it would head to Atlanta for the Sweet Sixteen and Elite Eight where it could face No. 1 seed Virginia.

Buffalo is 26-8 this season, including a league-best 15-3 record in the MAC.

ASU and UCLA both squeaked into the tournament and will participate in a play-in game. USC was surprisingly left out of the tourney.
