Nick Johnson was named the NBA G League Finals MVP on Tuesday after the Austin Spurs beat the Raptors 905, 98-76, to capture the championship.
The former Arizona Wildcat scored a game-high 17 points in the Game 2 win, shooting 6-of-10 from the field, including a scorching 5-of-6 from 3, while tallying 4 rebounds and 3 assists.
Johnson also scored 17 points in the first game of the best-of-three series, which Austin won 105-93.
Here are his highlights:
The 25-year-old played 48 games for the Austin Spurs this season, averaging 11.7 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 3.8 assists with a shooting line of .356/.355/.839.
Johnson has not appeared in an NBA game since the 2014-15 season, but hopefully his performance in the G League Finals helps him earn another shot.
