The Boston Celtics are chock full of injuries, so they are turning to a former Arizona Wildcat for help.

Kadeem Allen will make his first career NBA start Tuesday when Boston takes on the Bucks in Milwaukee.

Allen, a two-way player, has spent most of his time in the G League this season where he is averaging 17.7 points, 5.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 2.2 steals in 34.5 minutes for the Maine Red Claws.

Allen, 25, has appeared in 12 NBA games, but has only logged 39 minutes. He was selected by the Celtics in the second round of the 2017 NBA Draft.

Boston is currently without guards Kyrie Irving, Shane Larkin, Marcus Smart, and Terry Rozier as it finishes out the regular season.

The Celtics are 53-23, sitting in second in the Eastern Conference.

Tuesday’s tip-off in Milwaukee is scheduled for 5 p.m. PT.
