The Oregon Ducks are the Arizona Wildcats’ No. 1 competitor for Brandon Williams, so this weekend could be a big one for the future of both programs.
That’s when the four-star point guard will be taking his official visit to Eugene.

Williams will reportedly be joined by five-star forward and Oregon commit Louis King.
It’s been a busy month for Williams, who has garnered a lot of interest since decommitting from Arizona on March 2.
The Encino, Calif. product unofficially visited Arizona State on April 7 and received in-home visits from Arizona, Oregon, ASU, and Gonzaga from March 21 to March 27.
Per 247Sports, Williams plans to officially visit Gonzaga on June 1, which seems odd since that is after National Signing Day.
Still, Arizona and Oregon are widely seen as the favorites to land Williams, so next weekend could be a make or break moment for either school.
Landing Williams would be significant for Arizona, which just added its first 2018 commitment from 4-star shooting guard Devonaire Doutrive.
If Williams lands back with Arizona, it would have the No. 39 recruiting class in the country, per 247Sports’ class calculator — not bad for a program that was commit-less for over a month.
Williams would also greatly change the outlook of Arizona’s 2018-19 season, adding a much-needed point guard to a roster that is in desperate need of one.
The 6-foot-2 Williams is the No. 31 player in the 2018 class and No. 7 player at his position, per 247Sports composite rankings.
