After their first scrimmages at the NBA Draft Combine went a little rough, Allonzo Trier and Rawle Alkins bounced back Friday.
Alkins had 17 points to go along with six rebounds, five blocks, and two assists in a 98-66 win. He was 7-of-11 from the field, and split two 3s and four free throws.
On the opposing team, Trier had 10 points, two rebounds, two turnovers, and an assist on 3-of-7 shooting. He also went 4-of-5 from the free-throw line and had this dunk in transition:
Alkins went through shooting drills Friday, too. Here’s how he did in the spot-up scenarios:
- NBA break left — 80%
- NBA break right — 100%
- NBA corner left — 20%
- NBA corner right — 40%
- NBA top key — 60%
- Fifteen break left — 80%
- Fifteen break right — 80%
- College corner left — 40%
- College corner right — 60%
- College top key — 60%
And here’s how Alkins did in the non-stationary drills:
- Off dribble fifteen break left — 50%
- Off dribble fifteen break right — 50%
- Off dribble fifteen top key — 25%
- On the move fifteen — 79.4%
Trier posted a 32’ standing vertical and a 40’ max vertical. He did well in the agility drills. Trier’s lane agility time was clocked at 11.02 seconds, his three-quarter sprint was 3.14, and his shuttle run was 2.96, the third-best score at the combine.
The rest of the combine consists of meetings and medical testing. The drills and scrimmages are over.
