Arizona Wildcats target Parker Braun is currently on an official visit to LSU, according to his club team Mokan Basketball.

The 6-foot-8, 200-pound forward from Overland Park, Kansas is an unranked prospect, per 247Sports. Braun also holds offers from Arizona and Ole Miss, and officially visited Ole Miss this past weekend, per 247Sports.

Arizona still could use some frontcourt depth, and Braun is one of two of UA’s known 2018 targets. The other is five-star forward Jordan Brown, who is expected to choose between Arizona, Cal, and Nevada shortly.

The Wildcats offered Braun back in April. He averaged 11.6 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks as a senior at Blue Valley Northwest High School. He shot 78 percent from the field and 43 percent from 3.

Arizona’s frontcourt currently consists of Chase Jeter, Ira Lee, and Ryan Luther, and Braun would project to be the No. 4 player in that mix, or perhaps No. 5 if Emmanuel Akot spends some time at the 4.

While Braun has visited Ole Miss and now LSU, there has not been any word if he plans to visit Arizona. But 247Sports’ Jerry Meyer says Arizona is “involved.” The Wildcats still have two scholarship slots available.

According to PrepHoops.com, Braun is “known for his shot blocking presence, electric slam dunks and an emerging stretch 4 game.”

“I would describe my game as sort of defensively centered,” Braun told the site. I love that side of the ball and with energy and good defense offense comes with great teammates.”
