The Los Angeles Lakers are already chock full of Arizona Wildcats and maybe they’ll add one more this offseason.

UA guard Allonzo Trier is set to work out with L.A. on Wednesday at the UCLA Health Training Center, the Lakers announced on Twitter.

Trier will be one of six players participating in the workout. The other five are USC’s Chimezie Metu, Texas A&M’s DJ Hogg, SMU’s Shake Milton, Nevada’s, Cody Martin, and Iowa State’s Lindell Wigginton.

Arizona faced Metu, Hogg, and Milton this past season.

Trier is widely projected to be a late second-round pick or an undrafted free agent, so workouts like these will give him a chance to boost his stock before the draft on June 21.

Trier — along with former Arizona teammate Rawle Alkinswill also be participating in the NBA Draft Combine in Chicago from May 16 to May 19.

The 6-foot-5 Trier averaged 18.1 points per game this past season, shooting 50 percent from the field, 38 percent from 3, and 86.5 percent at the free throw line.

The Lakers have former Wildcats Luke Walton (head coach), Miles Simon (assistant), Jud Buechler (assistant), and Jesse Mermuys (assistant) on their coaching staff.

L.A. also had Channing Frye on its roster last season, but he is set to hit free agency this summer.
