Rawle Alkins had an off night, but the Toronto Raptors will live to play another day.

The Raptors topped the Denver Nuggets 85-77 to advance to the second round of the Las Vegas Summer League playoffs. The Nuggets move to the consolation bracket and are eliminated from title contention.

Alkins started at shooting guard, but was held to five points, three rebounds, and three assists in 18 minutes. The former Wildcat was 1-for-9 from the field, missed two 3s, but went 3-for-4 from the charity stripe.

Through four Summer League games, Alkins is averaging 6.5 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 2.0 assists in 16.8 minutes. He is shooting 31 percent from the field, including a 3-of-10 mark from 3.

The Raptors will take on the Charlotte Hornets on Saturday.

Grant Jerrett was the other ex-Wildcat scheduled to play Wednesday, but he did not appear in the Clippers’ 89-74 win over the Washington Wizards. Jerrett is averaging 2.7 points and 6.3 rebounds per game.

Thursday’s schedule can be found below. Jerrett, Allonzo Trier (Knicks), Kadeem Allen (Celtics), Kobi Simmons (Grizzlies), Deandre Ayton (Suns), and Chance Comanche (Magic) are all set to suit up.
