Pinder tweeted Wednesday morning that he is “ready to start this next chapter. Poland Bound.”

Legia Warszawa, also known as Legia Warsaw, played in the Polish Basketball League’s first division this past season after being promoted in 2017. However, they went 5-27, finishing dead last in the PLK.
After transferring in from Hutchinson Community College, Pinder appeared in 67 games in two seasons at Arizona, averaging 2.3 points and 2.1 rebounds per contest. The Australian was a defensive specialist, finishing top two on the team in defensive box plus/minus as a junior and senior.
Pinder’s offensive game was extremely limited, though, which prevented him from carving out a major role with the Wildcats. He played more in 2016-17 (12.0 MPG) than in 2017-18 (10.4 MPG), despite Arizona’s defense being historically bad.
