Kyle Fogg and Overseas Elite’s legendary run reached another milestone Friday as it won its fourth straight championship in The Basketball Tournament, taking down Eberlein Drive 70-58.
Overseas Elite wins $2 million in prize money for its victory, which will be divided up evenly among its 14 players, allowing each player to pocket about $143,000.
Overseas Elite is 25-0 all-time in TBT, and has won $7 million over the past four years. Fogg has used his winnings to help his mom buy and furnish a house, and also to support ALS research.
Fogg is set to play for the Guangzhou Long-Lions this year. He averaged 35.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 5.4 assists per game with them last season. He signed a two-way contract with the club in 2017 that is estimated to be worth $2 million.
While Fogg has never played a minute in the NBA, it’s safe to say he’s had a successful professional career.
