Arizona Wildcats center Chase Jeter had to leave the game against the Oregon State Beavers less than five minutes in after falling hard underneath the basket.

Jeter was going up for a potential rebound on a layup by Dylan Smith when he was undercut by OSU’s Tres Tinkle. Jeter attempted to grab the rim to avoid the fall but couldn’t hold on, resulting in him landing hard on the court from several feet above the ground.

Jeter stayed down for a few moments before walking to the locker room with Arizona trainer Justin Kokoskie. He remained in the locker room for the rest of the first half but came out for warmups after halftime and did not start the second half.

After an early timeout he returned to the locker room with the trainer but once again returned.

Jeter, a 6-foot-10 junior, missed half of his sophomore season at Duke in 2016-17 with a back injury.
