UC Irvine transfer Max Hazzard committed to the Arizona Wildcats on Tuesday.
Hazzard, the younger brother of former UA walk-on Jacob Hazzard, averaged 12.5 points per game this season, with a .412/.387/.779 shooting line.
The 5-foot-10 guard has one year of eligibility left and can play immediately.
In March, Hazzard scored 19 points to lead UC Irvine past Kansas State in its first-ever NCAA Tournament win.
Arizona will need to clear a scholarship to add Hazzard. Relatedly, Brandon Randolph recently declared for the NBA Draft, though he can still return to the UA.
