The Arizona Wildcats released their 2019-20 non-conference schedule on Thursday, with the marquee games being home contests against Gonzaga and Illinois, a road game at Baylor, and a neutral site game against St. John’s at the new Chase Center in San Francisco.
Arizona is also participating in the Wooden Legacy tournament in Anaheim, California beginning on Nov. 28 where they will play three games in four days. The field includes Providence, Wake Forest, Long Beach State, Pepperdine, Penn, College of Charleston and UCF.
The Red-Blue Game is Friday, Sept. 27, an unusually early start to the season.
An underrated opponent is New Mexico State, who will be coming to McKale Center on Nov. 17. The Aggies went 30-5, reached the NCAA Tournament, and finished 53rd in KenPom’s ratings.
