Five-star guard Devin Askew unofficially visited the Arizona Wildcats on Thursday, according to Jake Weingarten of StockRisers.
The 6-foot-3, 2021 prospect is the No. 15 player in his class and No. 3 combo guard, per 247Sports composite rankings.
Arizona is hosting five-star sophomore Devin Askew for an unofficial visit today, a source told @Stockrisers.— Jake (@jakeweingarten) June 20, 2019
Askew is enrolled at Mater Dei in Santa Ana, California, the same school former Wildcat Stanley Johnson attended.
Not surprisingly, Askew has offers from powerhouses like Kansas, Villanova, and Louisville.
Askew and Nico Mannion went head to head last season, and things got a bit heated as Mannion dropped 45 points:
Askew will be playing in a showcase in Phoenix this weekend as part of the Section 7 Basketball Team Camp event.
Other UA targets like 2020 five-star point guard Daishen Nix will be there too.
