One of the best prospects in the 2021 recruiting class appears close to making a college decision, which means the Arizona Wildcats may soon have their first commitment of that class.
Five-star guard Devin Askew plans to take multiple visits before making his college choice, his father told @247sports. Askew had said earlier today on Instagram that a decision was coming soon.— Evan Daniels (@EvanDaniels) September 17, 2019
Arizona has been going hard after the 6-foot-3 Askew, the No. 10 player in the 2021 class who currently plays for traditional Wildcat pipeline Mater Dei High School. Coach Sean Miller reportedly visited Askew on Monday, and he made an unofficial visit to Tucson in June.
Askew has offers from 16 schools, including the likes of Kentucky, Louisville, Memphis, Oregon and Villanova. He made an official visit to Louisville on Sept. 1 and has one scheduled for Villanova on Oct. 4.
