Arizona Wildcats assistant coach Jason Terry will not be on the bench for Monday’s game vs. Northern Arizona following an inconclusive COVID-19 test, the UA announced before tip off.
The first-year assistant will be re-tested on Tuesday morning. If it results in a positive, it would be Arizona basketball’s first documented COVID-19 case this season. That could force other players and staffers out of action if Terry was in close contact with them.

The Wildcats are also without freshman point guard Kerr Kriisa, who is in mandatory quarantine after returning from playing overseas for the Estonian national team last weekend. It is unclear when he will return to the bench or when/if he will receive NCAA clearance to play for the Wildcats. He is currently dealing with an eligibility issue stemming from a youth contract he signed in Lithuania.
We will update this with more information if/when it becomes available.
