There won’t be any last-minute additions to the Arizona Wildcats’ 2020 recruiting class, as four-star forward Alex Tchikou committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide on Sunday.
Arizona was one of nine schools in the running for the Frenchman, though adding him would have been a challenge since they are already one player over the scholarship limit for the 2020-21 season.
Tchikou was originally a 2021 prospect, but he announced his reclassification last week. The 6-foot-11 forward is the No. 58 player in the 2020 class, per 247Sports composite rankings.
He was also considering Florida State, Illinois, Mississippi State, Oregon, St. John’s, St. Mary’s, and USC.
