The sixth-ranked Arizona women’s basketball will host No. 1 Stanford on Friday in a battle of unbeatens.
If the Wildcats (7-0, 5-0 Pac-12) win, they will have beaten the No. 1 team in the country for the first time in school history, as well as start 6-0 in the Pac-12 for the first time in program history.
Arizona held off Stanford (7-0, 4-0) in McKale Center last season, escaping with a 73-72 overtime win, the only time the two teams faced each other.
