Former Arizona Wildcats standout shooting guard Gabe York has a new home.

The Fort Wayne Mad Ants selected York with the third overall pick in the 2021 NBA G-League Draft, meaning York will join the Indiana Pacers affiliate ahead of the 2021-22 season.

28 G-League teams participated in the 3-round draft, held ahead of the first day of training camps on Monday.

York is a G-League alum, having last played for the Lakeland Magic in 2017-18 and 2018-19. He was a recipient of the NBA G-League Sportsmanship Award in 2019.

A 4-year player at Arizona, York shot nearly 40% from 3-point range in college. As a senior, he averaged 14.4 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game.

The southern California native has played internationally in Italy, Greece, France, Germany and most recently Israel.
