Cross another candidate off the list.
Eric Musselman, who most considered a longshot for the Arizona head coaching job, has agreed to an extension with Arkansas, officially closing the book on his candidacy.

Musselman led Arkansas to the Elite Eight in just his second season at the helm.
Whether Musselman was even a realistic candidate or not, he made out well by (likely) earning himself a raise with the Razorbacks after leading them to the Elite Eight in just his second season at the helm.
With him out of the picture, Arizona’s attention will likely turn to Gonzaga assistant coach Tommy Lloyd. If not him than Damon Stoudamire, Miles Simon and Jason Terry have all interviewed for the job.
Fellow UA alumni Luke Walton and Steve Kerr publicly said they are not interested.
