Kim Aiken’s time as an Arizona Wildcat didn’t last long.
The Eastern Washington transfer has committed to Washington State, according to Stadium’s Jeff Goodman.

The 6-foot-7 forward out of Long Beach had previously pledged to transfer to Arizona, but that decision came one day before the UA fired Sean Miller. Aiken was unaware of Miller’s impending dismissal at the time of his commitment.
Gonzaga assistant Tommy Lloyd was hired as head coach the following week.
A versatile big man, Aiken would have added to Arizona’s frontcourt depth next season if he stayed. Instead, the Wildcats will face Aiken on the opposing end when they take on the Cougs next year.
Arizona’s 2021-22 roster is still in limbo. In a positive sign, several of the Wildcats’ projected returners participated in a team workout yesterday. The three players most notably present were Kerr Kriisa, Azuolas Tubelis and Bennedict Mathurin. Kriisa has entered the transfer portal and the other two have pro potential.
