Arizona basketball coach Tommy Lloyd has moved on from the A Player’s Program moniker.
The program has officially rebranded itself on social media, dropping the slogan that became synonymous with Arizona basketball under former coach Sean Miller.
The team’s Twitter handle is now @ArizonaMBB and its Instagram name is arizonambb.

No new slogan yet but it’s Arizona MBB for now pic.twitter.com/p1M0HpehHP
The changes are part of Lloyd’s way of establishing a fresh start from the previous coaching regime. That doesn’t mean Lloyd will drop the philosophy behind A Player’s Program, though.
Lloyd has promised to engage with former Arizona basketball players. He retained UA assistants Jack Murphy and Jason Terry to instill a continuity between the program’s past and present eras.
Should Arizona basketball adopt a new moniker? If so, what should it be? Twitter weighed in.

My vote is for “Arizona Basketball” but maybe I’m old fashioned.
