The Arizona Wildcats have lost seven straight to the Oregon Ducks, but they will get a small reprieve from the rivalry in Tommy Lloyd’s first season.
The Pac-12 announced the pairings for the league’s imbalanced 20-game schedule and Arizona will not travel to Eugene this season or host the up-and-coming Washington State Cougars in McKale Center.
The Pac-12 also revealed the early-season conference matchups. Arizona will host Washington (Thursday, Dec. 2) and travel to Oregon State (Sunday, Dec. 5).
The remainder of Arizona’s Pac-12 schedule, which will begin after Christmas break and be finalized at a later date, will look like this:
- Home: ASU, CAL, COLO, OSU, STAN, UCLA, USC, UTAH, WASH, ORE
- Road: ASU, CAL, COLO, OSU, STAN, UCLA, USC, UTAH, WASH, WSU
As for the non-conference schedule, Arizona’s will look like this, according to Bruce Pascoe of the Arizona Daily Star:
- Nov. 9 vs. NAU
- Nov 11 vs. Texas-Rio Grande Valley
- Nov. 16 North Dakota State
- Nov. 19: MGM Main Event (UNLV, Michigan, or Wichita State)
- Nov. 21: MGM Main Event (UNLV, Michigan, or Wichita State)
- Nov. 27: vs. Sacramento State
- Dec. 8: vs. Wyoming
- Dec. 11: at Illinois
- Dec. 15: vs. Northern Colorado
- Dec. 18: vs. Cal Baptist
- Dec. 22: at Tennessee
